Miss Thelma L. Rodee, 85, a resident of United Helpers Maplewood Campus and formerly of 37 Riverside Drive, died Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
Funeral Services will be Friday, July 16th at 11:00 a.m. in the Brick Chapel Church, Canton with Rev. Michael Catanzaro officiating. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the Lawrence Funeral Home, Canton. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving are her sisters, Jessie Manetta of St. James, Barbara Laspina and husband Peter of West Palm Beach, FL, Elaine Nelson of Trumensburg, Phyllis Varco of Hopewell Jct. and Janet Cook and husband Clark of Vestle; two brothers, Bernard Rodee and wife Helen of Kalamazoo, MI and William Rodee and wife Marilyn of Canton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Marie Zeh and her twin Melba.
Born April 23, 1925 in Canton, she was the daughter of Bernard and Etta (Aldous) Rodee. She attended Canton Schools. She was a caregiver to her Mother and her Uncle.
Thelma was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Empire Chapter #68 where she held various positions. She was also a member of Brick Chapel Ladies Aid and the First Presbyterian Church of Canton, where she served as a deacon.
