Mrs. Susan E. Windoloski, 47, of 268 Reed Drive, passed away, surrounded by her family, early Friday morning, January 13, 2012, at Massena Memorial Hospital, where she was admitted on Wednesday.
Susan was born June 18, 1964 in Holyoke, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late William and Eleanor O’Sullivan Renaud. She graduated from Holyoke High School and received her Associates Degree from North County Community College in Malone. A marriage to Albert Windoloski ended in separation.
Susan once worked as a Drug and Alcohol Abuse Counselor at St. Joseph’s Rehab Center in Malone, before having to retire due to her illness. She was also an artist, who enjoyed drawing, writing and telling stories.
She is survived by her companion, Don L. Griffith, of Massena; her nine children, Tara Windoloski of Holyoke MA, Jaime Windoloski of Massena, Alana Windoloski of Holyoke MA, Albert Windoloski, Jr. of Massena, Shawn Windoloski of Massena, Steven Windoloski of Holyoke, Tyler Windoloski of Massena, Jeremy Windoloski of Malone and Christopher Windoloski of Massena; her four grandchildren, James Laury, Zoe Russell, Brianna Laury, Eryn Washburn, and was anxiously awaiting the birth of her fifth grandchild.
Susan was also survived by her two sisters, Barbara and Carl Conners and Michelle and Michael LePage, all of Holyoke and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents.
