Funeral services for Sherry L. Bouchey, age 42, of Knox Street in Ogdensburg, will be held on Saturday (April 26, 2014) at 10:00 a.m. at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home with Deacon Richard VanKirk officiating. She will be laid to rest privately with her family.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. & 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home. Mrs. Bouchey passed away at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester on Sunday (April 20, 2014) surrounded by her loving family.
Surviving is her husband, Marc Bouchey of Ogdensburg; her parents, Sherry Crosby of Ogdensburg and Edward Epprecht & his wife Lee of Meridian; two sons, Daniel VanKirk of Knoxville TN and Spencer Bouchey of Ogdensburg; three brothers Edward “Brian” Epprecht & his wife Kimberly of Hammond, Sean Epprecht & Matthew Crosby both of Ogdensburg; a twin sister, Terry Porter & her husband David of Ogdensburg; a half-sister, Jennifer Savory & her husband Clifford of Meridian; step-brothers Mark Crosby & his wife Shannon and Robert Crosby & his wife Carina both of Ogdensburg; step-sisters Tammy Conger & her husband Rick of Ogdensburg and Bethany Crosby of Florida; nieces and nephews Cory Crossman, Toni, Kurtis, Tucker, Nathan, Connor and Keegan Epprecht, Noel Marceau and Talon Osgood; along with several aunts, uncles and great-nieces & nephews.
Sherry was born on July 15, 1971 in Schenectady,, the daughter of Edward Epprecht & Sherry (Main) Crosby. She graduated high school and attended SUNY Morrisville in the Culinary Arts program. A previous marriage to Richard VanKirk ended, and she then married Marc Bouchey on July 22, 2002 in Endicott.
Sherry worked at Granview in Ogdensburg for a few years prior to being employed with the Price Chopper Corporation where she worked from 1998 until 2009 when she became disabled. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Ogdensburg and enjoyed gardening, traveling, helping others, collecting angels, motorcycles, her dash hound Lady, holidays and spending time with her family and friends.
