Sandra Spearance, 47, Morristown

MORRISTOWN – Graveside services for Sandra Spearance, 47 of Main Street in Morristown, will be held at a time to be determined at White Church Cemetery in Lisbon.

Sandra passed away on Sunday (May 23, 2010) at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center after a recent illness.

Arrangements are with the Fox & Murray Funeral Home.

Surviving is her mother, Irene Spearance of Lisbon, her father, Carl Spearance and his wife Grace of Lisbon; Fiancée Rod Brown of Morristown; a sister, Shelly Senos of Cochrane, Alberta; two brothers, Michael Spearance and Steven Spearance both of Lisbon; nieces and nephews, Brennan and Joslyn Spearance of Lisbon, Alanna Henry-Senos and Austin Senos of Cochrane, Alberta; and a special friend Don Smithers of Ogdensburg.

An infant daughter Alessandra predeceased her.

Sandy was born on January 3, 1963 in Ogdensburg the daughter of Carl and Irene (Kerr) Spearance.

She graduated from Lisbon Central High School in 1981 and continued her education at SUNY Canton where she obtained an AAS degree in data processing.

A prior marriage to Brian Eveleigh ended in divorce.

During her working career she was employed at Alcoa in Massena, The Stone Fence Motel and Catholic Diocese in Ogdensburg, St. Lawrence County Probation Office in Canton and most recently Vinn’s in Ogdensburg, where she loved her lunch-time customers.

Sandy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, riding horses, her dog, cooking, flower gardening and traveling.

Memorial contributions can be made in her name to Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley.
