Sandra E. Marrama, age 62, of Brushton, and formerly of Burlington, MA died on Friday, February 11, 2011.
Sandra was born in Sommerville, MA on January 15, 1949 the daughter of the late John and Rita Kenny McGinness. She graduated from Burlington High School. In 1968 she was united in marriage to Richard J. Marrama. Sandra worked for Belafram Electronics Company as an assembler of electronics. She also worked for the family business, Forring Contracting as an accountant.
In her free time, Sandra enjoyed knitting a variety of items and donating to different charities.
Besides her husband Richard, she is survived by her children and their spouses, Scott and Maryanne Marrama of North Andover MA, John Marrama of Brushton, Anita and Victor Pacheco of Tewksbury MA, Theresa Marrama of Brushton, Tammy and Stephen Bushey, Jr. of Brushton; five grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Darlene and Paul Collins of Burlington MA; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Lori McGinness of Peabody, MA; Aunt Esther Horne of Arlington, MA; Uncle Joseph McGinness of Florida; several nieces and nephews. Sandra was predeceased by her parents; a son, Richard Marrama, Jr.; brother and sister-in-law, John and Kay McGinness, Jr. and a brother Paul McGinness whom was killed in Vietnam.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. at the Flint Funeral Home, Moira, with Rev. Christopher Looby officiating.
