Funeral services for Richard “Doc” Dominie, age 61, of Belmont Courts, Ogdensburg, will be held on Wednesday, August, 25 2010 at Frary Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. F. James Shurtleff officiating. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on August 25, 2010 at Frary Funeral Home from 1 - 3 p.m. Mr. Dominie passed away on August 20, 2010 at his home.

Mr. Dominie is survived by four sons, Richard of San Francisco, CA, Kevin and his wife Lachelle of Ogdensburg, Daniel and his fiancé Kimberly Smith of Ogdensburg and Jamie of Ogdensburg; his longtime companion Barbara Davenport of Ogdensburg; four brothers, William of Ocala, FL, Lawrence of Ocala, Fl, John of Ogdensburg and Mike of IL; two sisters, Nancy French of Madrid and Bonnie Dominie of Ca; twelve grandchildren, Ethan, Noah, Addison and Richard Dominie, Austin Eagleson, Greg, Kristen, Jessica and Joe Dillcox, Misty and Clark Zankar, and three great-grandchildren, Emmalyn Trivilino, John Thomas Pearson and Quiton Zankar. He was predeceased by one brother, Albert.

Mr. Dominie was born on June 16, 1949 in Ogdensburg, the son of Albert and Doris (Rheome) Dominie. He graduated Ogdensburg Free Academy. He married Sherry Hamilton of which ended in divorce. He worked for Lupia Electric.

Mr. Dominie enjoyed fishing, race cars, baseball and spending time with his family and his dog.
