TEXAS – Patrick Shepard, 59, was released to heaven on March 19, 2023, in Texas, surrounded by his sister and friends. Pat was born in Potsdam, NY, on March 12, 1964, to James and Opal (Planty) Shepard. He graduated from Madrid-Waddington in 1982 and enlisted in the Army. After his service, he worked locally until 1995, when he went South to work, ending his journey in Texas working for Zachry.

He made many lasting close and dear friends who became his second family. They enjoyed hanging out and having BBQs when not at work. Pat often made people laugh, which is one of the best gifts you can give. He enjoyed going to the movies and spoiling his niece Courtney Murray.

Pat is survived by his sister Tammy Murray, stepbrother Bruce, half-brother Chris, and stepmother Linda. Pat is predeceased by his parents, grandparents, brother-in-law Roger and stepbrother Jimmy.
