Norbert “Bert” P. Worden, 47, formerly of Gouverneur passed away on March 5, 2014 at the Samaritan Medical Center.
He was born on August 1, 1966, he was the son of the late Merrill and Beverly (Whiteford) Worden. He worked for the City of Watertown until becoming disabled.
Bert is survived by three brothers, Daniel of DeKalb Junction, Kevin and Michael of Gouverneur; three sisters, Coleen Mashaw of Black River, Kathy (Joe) Jesmer and Laurie Nowak of Gouverneur; and several nieces and nephews that he enjoyed being around.
He is predeceased by his parents and a brother, David who died in 1993.
Bert loved swimming and being around animals. He also loved spending time with his family, watching old movies and listening to do-op and 80’s music.
