Funeral service for 34-year old Michael Christopher Wilson of Town of Norfolk will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. at the Seymour Funeral Home in Potsdam, with the Rev. Charles Gardner officiating. Michael died at his home on February 14, 2011. Friends may call at the Seymour Funeral Home on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., the time of the service. Burial will be in the spring.

Michael was born September 4, 1976 in Potsdam, the son of Thomas F. and Penny M. Perry Wilson. He attended Massena High School. Michael was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed NASCAR and spending time with family members.

Surviving Michael are his parents, Thomas and Penny Wilson of Massena; grandparents Bill and Peggy Tassone, Canastota; two brothers and their wives, Cory and Tara Wilson of Massena, and Adam J. and Julie Ann Wilson, Norfolk; his companion, Wendy Kennedy of Norfolk; nieces and nephews, Dakota Wilson, Addalynn Perrin, James and Anthony Wilson, Blake, Gage and Mason Moody; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends who wish may make donations in his memory to the Norfolk Fire Department or to the Potsdam Humane Society.

The family has entrusted the arrangements with the Seymour Funeral Home, Potsdam.
