BOMBAY — Mary Wilson, age 89, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2023 with her loving family at her side. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Calvary Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Frary Funeral Home, 60 Maple Street, Massena.
Mary was born in Brasher, NY on November 15, 1933, the daughter of Jason and Gertrude (Paige) Monroe. Mary worked at St. Lawrence Central School in the cafeteria. On October 11, 1952 she married Michael Wilson at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Hopkinton with Rev. Laplante officiating.
Mary is survived by a son, Randy and his wife Tricia of Brasher Falls, two grandchildren, Desaray and her husband Benjamin Rabideau, Gabrielle and her significant other, Tanner Phippen, two great grandchildren Paisley Rabideau, Liam Phippen, a sister, Jean Gilbert of Norfolk, an uncle Charles Paige of Massena, a sister-in-law Harriet McGregor and her husband Glenn of Brasher Falls, three brother-in-laws, Philip Wilson of Massena, Ronald Wilson of Indiana, Darrel Belanga of Syracuse. She is predeceased by her husband, two brothers, Junior Allen and Paul T. Monroe, a sister, Ann Belanga, an aunt Teresa Kirkey, and a sister-in-law Eileen Elliot.
Mary enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and baking the best donuts around. Her favorite past time was spending time caring for her grandchildren.
