Mary A. Miller, age 90, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 9, 2010 in Bethlehem, PA. She was born in MN but lived most of her adult life in Cranberry Lake. She was the wife of the late Maynard R. Miller who passed away on April 9, 1979.
Mary was a devoted mother and a woman of substance. She was a kindergarten teacher for 21 years at the Clifton-Fine Central School, bringing knowledge, laughter, and music to her classroom, along with life values. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Patricia and her husband William of Bethlehem, PA; her daughter, Marilyn and her husband Stephen of Warwick, RI; her sister, Anne and husband Richard of Alameda, CA; and her sister Barbara of Indiana, PA.
She was the beloved grandmother of four granddaughters, Lisa, Amber, Lori, and Julie.
She was predeceased by a grandson, Tony. She will be greatly missed.
Calling hours will be held on December 28, 2010 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. at French Family Funeral Home in Star Lake. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at the Western Adirondack Presbyterian Church in Star Lake at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Pieter Visscher officiating. Burial in the Cranberry Lake Cemetery will be in the spring.
