Mary Jane Campbell, a lifelong resident of the area, passed away, Friday, December 17, at New York Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan. She was the daughter of Cora LaDue Paige and the late Irving Paige, born on October 8, 1947, in Massena. Mary was the widow of Colin R. Campbell.
Survivors include her sons, Colin W. Campbell and his wife Jeanne of Highland Mills, and Jacque P. Campbell and his wife Emily of Massena; daughter, Jodi Lynn Hopsicker and her husband Tommy of Norfolk; mother, Cora Paige of Norfolk; brother, Brad Paige of South Colton; sisters, Norma Bregg of Waddington, Patty Phelix of Bedford, Indiana, Debbie Murray of Lyndonville, Vermont, Nancy Hamilton of Groveton, New Hampshire, and Linda Paige of Norfolk; brother-in-law Maurice Campbell of Chase Mills; six grandchildren, Ian, Ryleigh, Logan, Jack “J.T.”, Thomas and Paige.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, December 21, at Buck Funeral Home, Inc., 23 West Main Street, Norfolk.
Prayer Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 22, at Church of The Visitation with the Rev. Andrew Amyot officiating. Interment will take place in Visitation Cemetery, Norfolk.
