Mark’s life partner is Elizabeth “Betty” Snider. Who he married on September 24, 1950 at Sacred Heart Church, Massena. Mark faithfully observed his Catholic faith through the years.
During his 67 years of marriage, when Mark wasn’t busy at ALCOA or home, he and Betty travelled to many destinations in European countries, Russia, Egypt and a total of 34 states in the U.S. He studied the locations before the trips and kept daily journals to share the trips with his sons upon returning.
