PARISHVILLE -- Marianne “Mim” Barlow, 82, Parishvillle passed away peacefully at the home of her son, Richard, on Saturday morning (November 20, 2021).
Mim was born on January 10, 1939 to Richard Moody and Marion Burr Moody.
Mim is survived by her four children; Richard Barlow (Edna), Margaret Barlow (Gregg Spengler), Suzanne Barney (Ronald), and Joanna Black (Jeffrey Innes), five grandchildren; Rae Ann Ciokiewicz (Ryan), Toni Summers (Ken), Briana Nunez, Jacob Barlow (Heather Jackson), and Brittany Giammalvo (Patrick), and seven great grandchildren; Mark Sumerix, Kevin Sumerix, Crew Ciokiewicz, Jayden Barlow, Jorden Barlow, Nora Giammalvo, Nicholas Giammalvo, a sister Lucy Bilow (Lester) and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her brother Richard Moody, her grandson Lawrence Barlow and her grandson Anthony Black.
Mim was known for her funloving spirit, her love for her family and her love of flowers and gardening.
Flowers can be sent in care of Garner’s Funeral Home in Potsdam and will be donated to a local nursing home after the services.
An online guest book is available to share memories and stories. Calling hours will be Monday, December 13th from 4-7 PM. Friends and family can call from 4-6 with a short service provided at 6:00. Graveside services will be at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Parishville, on Tuesday, December 14th at 2:00 PM with a Celebration of Life held at the Parishville Amvets immediately after the graveside services.
