Margo G. Partlow, 65, of 55 Marie Street, Massena passed away on Saturday morning, September 4, 2010, at Massena Memorial Hospital, where she had been admitted on Wednesday.
Margo was born February 7, 1945 in Syracuse, the daughter of Francis C. and Marion McCrystal Goodfellow. She graduated from Holy Family High School in Massena. On November 28, 1963, she married Richard H. Partlow at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Hogansburg with Rev. Joseph Stickelmeyer, officiating.
Margo worked as an office manager for many local physicians for over 30 years, including, Dr. Bruce Smith, Dr. Maureen Daye, Dr. Luis Canales, and Dr. Vikram Patel. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s/St. Joseph's Catholic Church, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and volunteer. Margo enjoyed sewing, knitting, reading, spending time with her grandsons and watching them play sports.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; three children, Mary Condlin and her husband, Kevin of Massena, Richard F. Partlow of North Syracuse, Michael J. Partlow and his companion, Jenn Testa of Westchester; three grandsons, Tyler and Brady Condlin and Gavin Partlow; her sister, Joan Derouchie and her husband, Ron of Massena; her brother, James Goodfellow and his wife, Sue of Massena and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, John Goodfellow.
Calling hours will be held privately. A Mass of Christian will be celebrated Tuesday 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Massena, with Rev. J. Michael Gaffney, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Massena.
