Funeral services for Lucille Perkins, age 87, will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Noon at Notre Dame Church with the Rev. F. James Shurtleff officiating. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery in the spring. There are no public calling hours. She passed away on Friday, March 28, 2014 at RiverLedge Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. Arrangements are with Frary Funeral Home.
Miss Perkins is survived by one brother, Isaac Perkins, of Ogdensburg; nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Joseph, Adelord and Henry Perkins; and four sisters, Lillian Gauthier, Georgianna Buffett, Irene Chevrier, and Marie Perkins.
Miss Perkins was born in Ogdensburg on December 19, 1926, the daughter of Joseph and Georgianna Montroy Perkins. She attended local schools. She worked for the Silk Mill in Ogdensburg, Cleveland Container, and at Acco until she became disabled.
Lucille enjoyed cooking, making candy and barbecuing in her backyard.
