Mrs. Lucille M. Dunn, 81, formerly of 134 Liberty Ave, passed away Thursday morning, January 13, 2011 at Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital, Plattsburgh. She had recently been a resident of the St. Regis Nursing Home.
Lucille was born December 17, 1929 in Massena, the daughter of Alfred and Georgeine Sauve Borey. She attended schools in Massena. She married Joseph Dunn, who predeceased her on May 22, 1994.
Lucille was a homemaker and a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Massena Senior Citizens and former member of TOPS. She enjoyed playing bingo and traveling, having been to Hawaii and Memphis.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Lefebvre and her husband, Raoul of Massena; two sisters, Pauline LaBaff and Jeannette Roberts, both of Massena; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Rita Kelly and Theresa Young.
There will be no calling hours. A Mass in Lucille’s memory will be celebrated Monday 3:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Massena with Rev. Jack L. Downs, officiating. Burial will be in the spring at Calvary Cemetery, Massena. Arrangements are with the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena.
