LOUISVILLE – Louise M. Manfred, 77, of 16 Arena Drive, unexpectedly passed away Friday evening, January 18, 2019, at her home.
Louise was born January 9, 1942, in Potsdam, the daughter of the late Roy and Bertha (Weaver) Chase.
She attended Potsdam schools and graduated of Potsdam High School in 1960.
Louise dedicated her life to the care of her late son, Brian.
She also worked for a time at the Nomad Motel in Potsdam.
She enjoyed knitting, sewing, and embroidery.
Louise is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Terry Davis of Potsdam; her brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Linda Chase of Potsdam and Jerry and Judy Chase of Canton; her daughter, Sarah Cardinall and John Kearns of Massena; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Brian M. Manfred on January 29, 2017, and her sister, Judy Kirkey on October 7, 2016.
At her request there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
A graveside service will be held in the spring at Crary Mills Cemetery.
