Funeral service for Lindsay H. Brown, 68, of Canton will be held on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at the O’Leary Funeral Home, 5821 US Highway 11, with Rev. William Hart, officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4pm until the time of the service. Lindsay died on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital.

Lindsay was born on July 8, 1943 in Syracuse, the son of the late Harriett Cady Brown. He worked for Syracuse Safety Lights in East Syracuse for 15 years, was a motor carrier for the Watertown Daily Times and drove tractor trailer for 8 years prior to retirement.

Lindsay has seven children, Karen Vito, Paulette Henry, David Arthur Holbrook Brown, all of Syracuse, Christina Marie Brown, Shanon Lee brown, Frank Samuel Brown and Jay C. Brown; his wife of 38 years, Linda Brown of Canton; and brother Jeff Brown of Georgia.

He was loved and will be missed by everyone that knew him. He loved driving truck and spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.
