Funeral services for Lina J. St. Pierre, 76, of Churchill Ave. Massena, will be held on Thursday April 27, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Phillips Memorial Home, with Rev. Judy Van Kennen officiating.
Friends and family may be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Phillips Memorial Home in Massena. Interment will be in Pine Grove II Cemetery in Norfolk. Lina passed away on April 24, 2011 at Massena Memorial Hospital.
Lina is survived by her children, Scot L. and Lori McClure of Massena, Kern K. and Sharon McClure of Norfolk: sisters, Mrs. Ross (Laura) Snowdon of Madrid, and Glenna Koch of Norfolk; brothers, Daniel Koch of Syracuse and Samuel Koch of FL; and three grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Lina was preceded in death by daughter, Dawn M. McClure on July 19, 2007; and three brothers, John, George and William Koch.
Lina was born on May 16, 1934 in Madrid the daughter of Kenneth and Georgina (Morgan) Koch. She married Hollis McClure in 1955 in Norfolk at the Methodist Church, the marriage ended in divorce. On May 16, 1990 she married James St. Peirre at his home in Massena. Mr. St. Pierre preceded May 8, 2004.
Lina enjoyed going to garage sales. Lina was an avid hunter and trapper in St. Lawrence Country. Lina also enjoyed painting in acrylics and oil. Lina was an accomplished cook.
