BRASHER FALLS -- Mrs. Kathleen E. Monette, age 76, passed away on August 4, 2018, at the Canton Potsdam Hospital.
Friends may call at the Garner Funeral Service on Friday, August 10 from 11 a.m. until 12 noon.
A funeral service will be held on Friday at noon at the Garner Funeral Service with Pastor Christopher Arnold celebrant.
Burial will follow the service at the Unionville Cemetery in Buckton, NY.
Contributions in her memory can be made to the Lawrenceville Baptist Chapel at 1088 County Rt. 54 North Lawrence, NY 12967.
Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Tina (Richard) Shatraw; sons, William Jr. (Patricia) Monette and Raymond (Dawn) Monette; brother, Richard Tucker, half-brother, James Tucker; sisters, Joanne Ryan and Dianne Tucker; grandchildren, Michael, Jeremy, Aaron, Jae-Alise, Allison (Jacob), Whitney, Anne Marie, William III, Ray and Dylan; 4 great-grandchildren, Monte, Ty, Cayden and Addie May.
She is predeased by her husband, William Monette and a sister, Karen Sullivan.
Kathleen E. Monette was born June 19, 1942, in Winthrop, NY to the late Richard and Eleanor Hewey Tucker Monette.
She was 1961 graduate of St. Lawrence Central School and then a graduate of CCBI in Syracuse, NY.
On September 7, 1963, at the Baptist Church in Potsdam, NY she was married to William Monette.
Kathleen was a homemaker raising her family.
She enjoyed bowling, arts and crafts, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was very involved with the Lawrenceville Baptist Chapel.
She donated a lot of her time there working with the Vacation Bible School and the church choir.
