Mrs. Katherine I. “Kate” Fuller, 75, of 8683 State Highway 56, passed away on Friday evening, February 4, 2011 at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital after a year and a half battle with cancer.

Kate was born June 19, 1935 in Raymondville, the daughter of the late Miles and Charlotte “Lottie” Oakes Agen and attended schools in Raymondville. On June 25, 1955, she married Richard W. Fuller in Potsdam. He predeceased her on April 7, 1995.

Kate owned and operated Fuller’s Trucking in Raymondville, where she enjoyed serving her customers for over 50 years. She loved birds and cats.

She is survived by her two children and their spouses, Donald and Darcy Fuller of Norfolk and Charlotte and Ronald Beamis of West Stockholm. She is also survived her 5 grandsons, who were her pride and joy, Jason and Mistee Conte, Matt and Christine Conte, Chris and Misty Fuller, Travis and Brad Fuller; 8 great grandchildren; her sister and brother-in-law, Mildred and Robert Taber of Madrid and many nieces and nephews.

Kate was predeceased by a grandson, Jeremy Fuller on April 14, 2009; a great granddaughter, Harmony Fuller; 2 sisters, Ethel M. Porter and Sarah Rowe; and 5 brothers, George, Robert, Stanley Abner, Ralph and Raymond Agen.

Friends may call Monday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena, where funeral services will be held at 8:00 PM with Rev. Lee Sweeney, officiating. Burial will be in spring at Raymondville Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.
