MASSENA -- June Davis age 89, passed away on November 16, 2023 at Highland Nursing Home.
A graveside service will be held at Pine Grove II cemetery on Wednesday November 22, 2023 at 11 with Rev. Sonja Boyce officiating.
Arrangements are with Frary Funeral Home, 60 Maple Street, Massena.
June was born on June 24, 1934 in Malone, the daughter of Raymond and Eva Legault Lamica.
June married John Davis on January 12, 1952 at the Notre Dame Church in Malone.
She worked as a housekeeper for various businesses and people in the area.
She is survived by her children; June Davis and her husband, Adrian LaMay, Robin “Moose” and his wife, Lilly, Yancy and her husband, Harold LaPradd, Victoria and her husband, Paul Courson, Ralph and his wife, Edith, a brother, Howard and his wife, Pauline; 8 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren.
She is predeceased by two sons, John Davis Jr, and William “Duff” Alex.
June enjoyed doing ceramics, dancing and flirting with men.
She also enjoyed a good party and watching westerns on TV.
Memorial donations in June’s memory may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.
