Joseph R. Hidy, Sr. “Joe”, age 79, formerly of Ogdensburg, passed away January 25, 2011 at the Hospice’s Hamrick Home in Okeechobee.

A disabled American Veteran, he is survived by his wife, Elaine; and granddaughters, daughter-in-law, great grandchildren, brother and a sister.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday, February 4, 2011 at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Okeechobee, PO Box 1548, Okeechobee, FL 34973.
