James “Jim” Macaulay, 65, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown. There will be no calling hours or funeral services and arrangements are with the Green Funeral Home, Gouverneur.
Jim was born December 28, 1946 in Gouverneur, the son of Stephen and Lillian Smith Macaulay. He worked for CIVES Steel Corporation for over forty years, retiring two years ago. Jim married Linda O’Brien on December 5, 1998.
Jim is survived by his wife, Linda; three daughters, Hope Macaulay and her companion, Steve Tuck of Tennessee, Amy Barnes of Tennessee, and Tanya and Rich Aiello of Pennsylvania; six grandchildren; a sister-in-law, and brothers-in-law Hilda and David Yousey of Lowville, Lawrence Gardner and companion Marj Ramsey of Lowville, Larry Ellis of Oxbow and Ron Swem of Wegatchie; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; two sisters, Patricia “Tead” Ellis and Beverly Swem; two brothers, Eugene and David Macaulay.
