A Funeral Mass for James J. Frisina, age 41 of Agawam, MA and formerly of Ogdensburg will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Cathedral with Rev. Joseph Morgan presiding. Interment will be at Foxwood Memorial Park. There will be no public calling hours. Mr. Frisina passed away Monday, January 2, 2012 in Springfield, MA. Arrangements are with the Fox & Murray Funeral Home.
Surviving are his parents, James D. & Anne E. (Mahoney) Frisina of Ogdensburg; a sister, Krista Kanzenbach and her husband Karl; a daughter, AnnaBella Maria Frisina; a grandmother, Helen Mahoney; a nephew, Christopher (Ceejay) Frisina; an aunt, Rosalie Pike; uncles, John, Thomas and Kevin Mahoney and many cousins.
James was born on May 13, 1970 in Ogdensburg, and graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy in 1988. He then married Heather Raines on August 13, 1999. The marriage later ended in divorce. Jim worked for various auto dealerships in New York, Florida, Georgia and Massachusetts.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council # 258 and the Ogdensburg Elks Lodge # 772.
