Sonny was a star at a young age, he sang at Channel 5 live with his coonskin cap, and a medley of Elvis songs. He served in the US Army and was Honorably Discharged in November 1976. He spent 20 years working for Reynolds before he retired.
He loved fishing, tennis, basketball, golf, and spending time with the family. He was always there for anyone and made friends everywhere he went. Sonny was always smiling and had a kind word for everyone he would see. His wit and sense of humor drew everyone toward him. His love of pasta, music and his magnetic smile will be remembered by all that loved him.
A celebration of life will be held later this summer.
Donations in his memory can be made to The Alzheimer's Awareness Campaign.
