Memorial services for Glennis M. Ball, 81, formerly of Grasmere Terrace will be held Saturday (October 15, 2011) 2:00 p.m. at the Phillips Memorial Home, Massena with Rev. Donald Manfred officiating. Family and friends may call Saturday starting at 12:00 noon until the time of services.
Glennis died Thursday morning (October 13, 2011) at the St. Regis Nursing Home, surrounded by her family.
Glennis is survived by four daughters, Susan (Donald) Noel of Carpentersville, IL, Mary Kay (David) Fish of Massena, Ellen (Jeff) Gaebel of Deferiet, and Carolyn (Basil) Compo of Forestdale, MA; nine grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren; a sister, Janet (Bill) Brown of Massena; brother David (Connie) MacLennan of Massena; also many nieces and nephews.
Glennis was preceded in death by brothers, Carl, Earl and Donald MacLennan; and a sister, Thelma Cross.
Glennis was born June 20, 1930 in Massena the daughter of Glenn and Florence (McDermont) MacLennan. She was a graduate of Massena High School. Glennis was married to Edwin Ball October 29, 1977. He preceded her in death in 1988.Glennis was employed by the St. Lawrence County Office of the Aging at one time as an Advocate.
Glennis was a communicant of the Church of the Sacred Heart. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
