Funeral services for Gladys M. Durham, King Street, Ogdensburg, will be held on Friday, March 18, at 1 p.m. at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home. Her place of rest will be at Foxwood Memorial Park.
Calling hours will also be held on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Ms. Durham died Tuesday morning, March 15, at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center surrounded by her family.
Surviving are two children, Nichole Durham and her companion Leo Compo, Christopher Durham and his companion Trisha Fredericks of Ogdensburg; sisters, Edna Webb and Ann Martin of Ogdensburg, Shirley Kendall and her companion Al Nugent of Brier Hill, William Durham of Ogdensburg, Roy Durham and his wife Robin of Ogdensburg; three grandchildren Emily, Hayden and Aliyha Durham, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Gladys was predeceased by four sisters Judy Durham, Diane Durham, Marion Durham and Harriett Lovely; and two brothers, Kenneth and Clarence Durham.
Gladys was born on August 10, 1959, in Ogdensburg, a daughter of the late Kenneth & Kathleen (Kitts) Durham. She graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy and was employed at Newell Manufacturing and Compass during her working career. She retired in 1999 due to poor health.
She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, bingo, computers, her dogs and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
