A memorial mass for Gilbert M. McWilliams, age 85, formerly of 308 Knox Street, Ogdensburg, will be held in the spring at Notre Dame Church. Burial will be held in Notre Dame Cemetery. Mr. McWilliams passed away on Monday, March 21, 2011 at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center.

Mr. McWilliams is survived by nieces and nephews; and his good friend, Mike Silver and his wife Kathleen of Ogdensburg.

He was predeceased by his wife, Mildred McWilliams.

Mr. McWilliams was born on November 30, 1925 in Ogdensburg, the son of Charles and Lucille Ashley McWilliams. He graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy in 1943. He served in the US Navy from 1944 to 1946. He married Mildred Ashley on June 13, 1962 in Elkton, Maryland. He worked for Dodds Dairy as a Milk Man.
