Funeral services for George A. Latour, age 69, formerly of Proctor Avenue, Ogdensburg will be held on December 15, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Notre Dame Church with Rev. F. James Shurtleff officiating.

Arrangements are with Frary Funeral Home. Mr. Latour passed away on December 13, 2010 at United Helpers Nursing Home where he was a resident for the past few years.

Mr. Latour was survived by one son, George Latour Jr. of Maine; one daughter, Tammie Latour, address unknown; and a longtime companion, Lucy Recore of Massena.

Mr. Latour was born on January 10, 1941 in Plattsburgh, the son of Leona Latour. Mr. Latour graduated from Plattsburgh schools. He worked construction as a painter for many years in the Plattsburgh area, moving to United Helpers Nursing Home in June 1993. He married Mary Latour in 1958, which ended in divorce.

Donations may be made in his memory to the Notre Dame Heritage Fund.
