George W. Kellison, 76, of Constantia and formerly of Massena, passed away May 18, 2011 at St. Josephs Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born Aug 10, 1934 in Massena, a son of James & Lillian La Clair Kellison .
He retired from Preston Trucking in 1992 after 30 years. He also served as a police officer for the Town of Constantia.
He was an avid woodworker and enjoyed camping & fishing.
George was a loving father, grandfather, brother & uncle.
Surviving are a daughter, Lisa & Martin Gratton of Quebec, Canada; two sons, George & Joan, Garett & Jane, all of Constantia, ten grandchildren, 1 great grandson, his long time companion, Noreen Adams, a sister, Mary Turner, Sodus, N.Y., four brothers, Raymond & Betty and Bernard all of Arlington, Texas, Stuart , Ocala, Fla., and Billy Kellison, Clyde, N.Y., and several nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., May 23, 2011 at St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church, Constantia, under the direction of the Watson Funeral Home, Central Square.
Graveside services 3 p.m. Huron Evergreen Cemetery, Huron, N.Y. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 2-5 at the funeral home, 631 S. Main Street.
