Frank Gilbert Storrs, 85, of 28 Rockwood Circle, Crimora, Va., formerly of Massena and Malone, died Sunday, October 03, 2010 at Augusta Health.

Funeral services will be private.

Surviving are his 5 sons, Mark Storrs of Crimora, Va., Joseph Storrs, James Storrs and his wife Pamela of Winchester, Va., David Storrs of Crimora, Va., Thomas Storrs and his wife Elizabeth of N.Y.; 6 grandchildren, Erica, Stephen, Christopher, Ashley, Catherine, and Morgan Storrs; and his sister, Kathleen Morris of Ariz.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary Demo Storrs whom he married May 28, 1955.

He was born December 5, 1924 in NY, son of the late Gilbert Joseph Storrs and Jessie Cardin Storrs.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving his country during World War II in Australia.

Mr. Storrs was a graduate of the University of Buffalo (NY), where he received his Masters Degree in Business Administration.

He worked in the New York public school system for many years, including those of Malone, Massena, and Poughkeepsie. He was Assistant Superintendent/Business Administrator of Malone Schools.
