Earl Joseph Bleser, 75, of Clermont, Fla., passed away July 9, 2010 at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 15, in the Becker Chapel, Clermont. Rev. Dr. Walt Fowler will officiate.
His remains will be buried at a later date in the family plot in Schenectady Memorial Park in Schenectady, N.Y.
He was born April 19, 1935 in Scotia, N.Y., son of Earl & Irene Sleeter Bleser.
He was a former New York State Police officer and forensic accountant.
On October 5, 1963 he was united in marriage to Nancy Blais in Massena, N.Y.
A local resident since 2000 from Rexford, N.Y., he was active in the Kings Ridge community and was a member of Certified Fraud Examiners Association.
Surviving are his wife Nancy Bleser of the residence; sons Michael Bleser, his wife Allison and their sons Jacob, Samuel & Dylan all of Clermont & David Bleser, his wife Shelley, their sons Brandon & Jordan and daughter Courtney, all of Austin, Texas.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Charles Bleser.
