A graveside committal service for 81-year-old, Mrs. Doris Narrow Schuck will be held Saturday, September 3, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Potsdam, with Monsignor Robert Aucoin officiating. Friends may call at the Seymour Funeral Home on Saturday, August 27, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.. Mrs. Schuck passed away at home while under the care of Hospice.
Survivors include her companion, Donald Gonyea; two sons, Michael Gonyea of Potsdam, and Russell Gonyea of Norwood; three daughters, Linda White of Holly, Karl and Diane White of West Chazy, and Debra Deshais of Chase Mills. Also surviving Mrs. Shuck are 7 stepchildren, Lori, Connie, Marlene, Carol, Tony, Lyle and John and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister, Mrs. Evelyn Ashley in Tennessee.
Mrs. Schuck was predeceased by her husband Allen in 1983; five sisters and two brothers.
She was born September 27, 1929 in Norwood, the daughter of Ira and Celia Currier Narrow. She attended Norwood High School and then married Donald Gonyea in 1948, that marriage ended in divorce. She than married W. Allen Schuck in 1972.
