Memorial services for David R. Scott, 52, of Louisville, will be held Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Memorial Home in Massena. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. David passed away on May 22, 2011, cared for at his home by his loving wife and hospice.

He is survived by his wife Anita; his mother, Cynthia Scott of Massena; his children, Jonathon of Cortland, Janessa Scott of Madrid, Jennifer Scott of Plattsburgh, and Larissa Scott of Massena; step children, Zachery LeClair of Massena, and Joshua and Ciara Truax both of Massena; his brother, Ted and wife Cathy Scott of Massena; a sister, Laure St. Moritz of PA; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle, and cousins.

David was born on April 9, 1959 in Massena the son of John R. and Cynthia (Daley) Scott. David graduated from Massena High School, and attended SUNY Canton. He married Anita Guilbert on February 14, 2004. He worked for Over Head Doors in Massena for over 30 years, and then worked for NCC Systems in Potsdam until he became ill. David enjoyed woodworking, fishing and boating.
