David M. Kingsley, 43, of Gouverneur, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at E.J. Noble Hospital in Gouverneur.
Calling hours will be on Sunday, March 13 from 1 to 5 p.m. at French Funeral Home, Gouverneur. The funeral service will be on Monday, March 14 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Reggie Curtis officiating. Burial will be at Hailesboro Cemetery at a later date.
David was born on May 9, 1967 in Gouverneur to David K. and Joan B. (Bibbens) Kingsley. He graduated from Gouverneur Central School in 1985.
He then went to work at White’s Lumber where he worked for 14 years before going to work as a highway maintenance worker 1 for the NYSDOT in Hailesboro where he has worked since September of 1999.
He married Denise M. Hogue on October 7, 2000 at her parent’s home in Gouverneur.
David enjoyed hunting, watching sports on T.V., especially NASCAR racing.
David is survived by his wife, Denise M. Kingsley; his mother, Joan B. Kingsley; his brother and sister-in-law, Daniel M. and Tina Kingsley; and his niece, Hannah Kingsley, all of Gouverneur.
He was predeceased by his father David K. Kingsley, who passed away in 2008.
