Visitation hours for 58-year old Ms. Connie Lee Barber of Parishville will be held on Monday, April 25, 2011 at Seymour Funeral Home in Potsdam, from 7 to 9 p.m. followed by a brief service of remembrance led by Pastor Lee Sweeney. Ms. Barber died at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital on April 19, 2011.

Survivors include her companion, Jeff Smith of Parishville; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara "Bobbie Jo" Barber of Parishville; two sons, Bradford Barber, Jr. of Parishville, and Nathan LaPlante of Rensselaer Falls; a brother, Gary Duprey; and three grandchildren, Alexee Barber, Reed Meashaw, and Jakobey Barber all of Parishville.

Connie was predeceased by her parents; and a sister, Peggy G. Duprey.

She was born in Massena on November 25, 1952 the daughter of Gerald and Pauline (Goodale) Duprey. She worked for several years at the PACES Food Service at SUNY Potsdam College.
