Cindy M. King, age 50, of Edwards, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at her home.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday, October 6th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at French Funeral Home, Edwards. The funeral mass will be on Thursday, October 7th at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edwards with Fr. Stephen Rocker officiating. There will be no burial.
Cindy was born on October 30, 1959 in Plattsburgh, to Napoleon and Alma (Gumlaw) Ashline. She graduated from Saranac Central School and then went on to receive her BA in Business.
Cindy married David P. King on April 16, 1991 in Saranac by the Justice of Peace. They lived in Dannemora moving to Edwards in 1999. Cindy worked as a substitute teacher at Edwards Knox Central School for the last 7 years. She was a member of the rosary society and she enjoyed baking.
Surviving is her husband David P. King of Edwards; two sons, Richard V. and his wife, Mary King of Red Creek and Ryan A. Ashline of Edwards; two daughters, Catherine F. Corrow of Dannemora and Joyce M. and her husband, Eric Mills of Plattsburgh; three brothers, Alva Ashline of Claremont, FL, John Ashline and Everest Ashline both of Saranac; three sisters, Janet LaClair of Crystal River, FL, Bonnie Petes of Saranac and Tammy Kemp of Cliff Haven; and eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
