Brennon Lee Conklin, 23, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2011 in South Carolina from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Calling hours are Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon with a funeral service at 12:00 noon at the Green Funeral Home, Hermon with Rev. William Hart, pastor of the Hermon United Methodist Church officiating.
Brennon was born January 3, 1988 in Gouverneur, the son of Randy Lee and Shannon Lee Gregg Conklin. Brennon attended Hermon-DeKalb School and graduated from Crest High School in Shelby, NC in 2007, and he had worked as a cook and currently was employed at Price Chopper in Massena. Brennon enjoyed on-line gaming, playing Dungeons & Dragons, working on computers, and spending time with his family and friends.
Brennon is survived by his parents Randy and Shannon of Massena; a brother and his companion, Ryan Lee Conklin and Kelli “MJ” Dennis of Summerville, SC; a sister Cassandra Marie Conklin of Massena; a niece and two nephews, Madison Analee, Hayden W., and Triston Lee Conklin; his grandparents, Sandra Gregg of Shelby, NC, Sylvester “Buck” Buchanan of Elizabeth City, NC, and Elaine Conklin of Gouverneur; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was predeceased by a grandfather, Howard L. Conklin.
