POTSDAM -- Brendan John Soper was born on October 30, 1982. He was the second of five children.
In 1990 he moved to Potsdam with his older brother and new-born twin sisters.
In 1993 the family lived in Chicago, and Zachary Lee Hunt was born. A return to Potsdam in 1994, and Brendan returned to Potsdam Central School. He was enrolled in the BOCES program.
Brendan had Down Syndrome, and he loved the life he had with all his siblings.
In 2004 Brendan moved into a private group home, and three years ago he moved to Pleasant Valley House.
Brendan is survived by Eric and Romy Hunt, Colin Soper and Judy Tokgoz and their son, Lorne, Rebecca, Fox, David Cude, Emily Hunt, Zachary Hunt, Uncle Mike, and Doris Mitchell Hunt is the only surviving Gramma.
Brendan was a loving brother and he went along with the family to Montreal frequently.
Six days before Brendan died, a third nephew was born, Archibald Lee Cude.
