Funeral services for Blanche (Tut) E. LaFave, age 71, of United Helpers Nursing Home, will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be held in Notre Dame Cemetery in the spring. Mrs. LaFave passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center.

Mrs. LaFave is survived by her husband, Eugene (Joe) LaFave; seven children, Dale of Florida, Robin Pray of Hammond, Wayne LaFave of Ogdensburg, Jodi Cullen of Hornell, NY; Eugene LaFave of Ogdensburg, Tiasha Dashnaw of Hornell, NY; Bobbi Jo LaFave of Ogdensburg; six sisters, Hazel Lombard of Ogdensburg, Janet Fisher of Ogdensburg, Sally Meyers of Oswego, Susan Thomas of Oswego, Iva Roush of PA, Donna Pearson of Brier Hill; one brother, Melvin Perry Sr. of Ogdensburg; 26 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by two children, Ceola LaFave and Eugene LaFave in infancy; four brothers, Donald, Robert, Loren and Harold Perry and one sister, Eva Shaver. 

Mrs. LaFave was born on November 5, 1939 in Lisbon, NY, the daughter of Harold and Janette (Crowder) Perry.  She attended Lisbon Schools.  She married Eugene LaFave on April 4, 1959 at Notre Dame Church with Rev. A.D. Charbonneau officiating. She worked for Newell’s Manufacturing Company and Shade Roller. 

Mrs. LaFave enjoyed spending time with her family.
