Beverly A. Weidner, 65, died Friday evening at the Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown. Funeral service will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Piddock Funeral Home, Adams, with Rev. Dr. Thomas Hood, pastor of the Adams Center Baptist Church, officiating. Calling hours will be from 5- 7 p.m. preceding the funeral.

Born February 20, 1946 in Ogdensburg, daughter of James O. and Kathryn M. Aubrey Van Ornum, she graduated from Heuvelton High School and attended Mater Dei College. She worked for many years locally in the tourism industry and sales.

She married Frederick H. Weidner on March 23, 1997 in the Tully United Methodist Church. The couple lived in Mexico before moving to Watertown in 2006. Mr. Weidner died March 21, 2010.

She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, David Brent and Heather Geary, Huntsville, AL; Brian Michael and Anne Geary, Heuvelton; Shawn Patrick and Lena Geary, Saratoga Springs; nine grandchildren, one great-grandaughter; one step son, Alan M. Weidner, Johnson City, NY; one step daughter, Ashley M. Weidner, Johnson City, NY; two brothers, David Van Ornum, Albuquerque, NM; Steven Van Ornum, Belen, NM; two sisters, Mary K. Spencer, Geneseo; Theresa Van Ornum, Redlands, CA; several nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Bambi.

She is predeceased by one brother, Michael Van Ornum.

Mrs. Weidner was a member of the Adams Center Baptist Church.
