Prayer services for Beverly J. Snyder, 78, of the Martin Rd, Louisville will be held Friday, September 17, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of the Sacred Heart, with Rev. Donald J. Manfred presiding.
Friends and family may be received on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Phillips Memorial Home, 64 Andrews St. Massena.
Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Brushton. Mrs. Snyder passed away Tuesday morning (September 14, 2010 ) at Fletcher Allen Medical Center where she had been a patient since Friday ( Sept 10, 2010).
Surviving Beverly J. Snyder are three sons and three daughters, David B and Jeanne of Syracuse, Philip R and Joanne of Atlanta, GA, John L . of Greely, CO, Mrs. Dennis (Carolyn) Dugauy of Veazie, ME, Mrs. Arthur (Katherine) Bennett of Lake Mary, FL, and Michelle Burcum of Ft. Collins, CO; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren; and three brothers, and a sister, Herbert Seeber of Massena, Colin Seeber of Louisville, William Seeber of Potsdam and Kay Hoff of Florida, FL.
Beverly was born on July 27,1932 the daughter of Edward and Elizabeth (Campbell) Seeber in Norfolk. She married Henning W. Snyder January 6,1951at the First United Methodist Church, later having their marriage blessed at St. Mary's Church in Massena by Rev. Edwin Kennedy. Mr. Snyder passed away on August 18, 1999. For several years she drove the lunch wagon at Alcoa.
She enjoyed playing bingo, and sharing her homemade donuts with her friends and neighbors. She was a member of the Massena Senior Citizens.
