Beverly D. Robinson, 79, of Sandfordville, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hammill Funeral Home in Winthrop.
Her family will receive friends Saturday morning from 10 a.m. to noon at the Knapps Station Community Church, 3035 CR 47, Norwood, followed by a short service at the church. There will be a luncheon following the service for family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph; their children, Daniel and Jennifer Robinson of Victor, Kelly and David Whalen of Oswego, John and Jennifer Robinson of Ft. Wayne, Ind., William and Sonia Marie Robinson of Oswego and Ellen Cooney of Canton, as well as eight grandchildren, Karissa and Nate Masuicca, Devin Whalen, Madisyn Whalen, Tyler Cooney, Kaitlin and Justin Turpin, Griffin Robinson, Garrett Robinson, Katherine Robinson and one great grandson, Logan Masuicca.
Her sister, Barbara Kent, predeceased her.
Born in Hammond on September 9, 1931, Beverly is the daughter of the late Loudon K. and Alice Brown Daniels. She graduated from Hammond High School in 1949.
On June 6, 1954, she married Joseph J. Robinson of Potsdam at her parents' home in Hammond. They have shared a loving marriage for 56 years.
