Funeral services for Betty L. Moulton, 83, Hamilton Gardens, Waddington, will be held on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at the United Church of Madrid. Friends and family may call on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Phillips Memorial Home in Waddington. Interment will be in Madrid Cemetery. Betty passed away on November 23.
She is survived by four daughters and a son; Nancy and husband Larry Wright of Madrid, Ginny and husband Philip Carkner of South Lake, Texas; Vicky and husband Marty Haenel of Waddington; Connie and husband Steve Bogart of Waddington; Terry and wife Sandra Moulton of Madrid, 17 grandchildren, and 37 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by five brothers and six sisters.
Betty was born on June 30, 1928, in Madrid the daughter of Leon and Florence (Flemming) White. Betty attended Madrid Schools. She married Elmer Moulton on June 1, 1946, which ended in divorce.
She was a member of the United Church of Madrid, former member of Madrid Rescue Auxiliary. Betty enjoyed NASCAR, especially Dale Jr. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at her home at Hamilton Gardens.
