The peaceful passing of Bert “Hugh” Bresett amongst his close family members took place Tuesday. Passing arrangements are being handled with TLC by Frary Funeral Home.
No formal calling hours are scheduled. Family and friends may wish well and relay condolences to the family personally.
Bert is survived by his mother, Lois Bresett; a son, Jeremy; two brothers, Rob and Chris; and his faithful companion, “DJ” Dogg. He was also blessed to be survived by two beautiful grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles, and cousins too numerous to mention.
He was predeceased by his dad, Percy Bresett; and brother, Jeffrey Bresett.
Bert was born in Ogdensburg, in the winter of 1951 to Lois and Percy Bresett. He grew up with a deep passion for racing. Bert always had a flair and love of arts. Hobbies included custom model car assembly and collection, fishing, camping, and gulf coast beach kiting. Bert loved his family, close friends, and family pets with all his heart.
Bert was a veteran of the US Army. He will be laid to rest in peace at the Town of Lisbon cemetery and those burial announcements will be made. Donations, flowers or contributions in his name can be made to whomever the person wishing to make such, wishes.
