Funeral services for Bernard Gore, age 80, of Morris Street, Ogdensburg will be held on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Cathedral with Rev. Joseph Morgan officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Frary Funeral Home. Mr. Gore passed away at Claxton Hepburn Medical Center on December 26, 2011.

Mr. Gore is survived by his sister in law, Sophie Gore of Lockport; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, William and Edgar and James Downey.

Mr. Gore was born on February 23, 1931 in Ogdensburg, the son of William and Maude Kinch Gore. He graduated from St. Mary’s School for the Deaf in Buffalo. He ran a private hauling business for many years and later retired from Union Carbide. In 1983 he returned to Ogdensburg.

Mr. Gore was a Mason in the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed repairing old dolls and lamps.
