Mrs. Barbara A. Hall, 72, of 372 Larue Road, Massena, passed away on Sunday morning, July 11, 2010 at Fletcher-Allen Health Center, Burlington, VT.
Barb was born October 9, 1937 in Massena, the daughter of Clyde W. and Esther P. Davis Giles. She graduated from Massena High School in 1959. On July 23, 1960, she married Marshall W. Hall at St. John’s Episcopal Church with Rev. Charles Purcell, officiating. Marshall predeceased her on November 17, 2001.
She was a homemaker, who once worked at Mayville’s Store and babysat various children for many years. She was a former member of the Helena Home Bureau and was a Den mother with the cub scouts for many years. She enjoyed bowling for many years and belonged to several bowling leagues. She enjoyed sewing, having made many pieces of clothing for her family.
She is survived by three sons, Terry and Ellyn Hall of Brasher Falls, Trever Hall of Massena and Tracy Hall of Massena; three grandchildren, Ashleigh, Emily, and Babby; two great grandchildren; her sister, Joan and Leland Jackson of Phoenix, Arizona; her brother, Harry Giles of Massena; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be held privately at the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
