AKWESASNE -- Arthur B. “Akwiraienton” Montour, whom was known to many as “Sugar”, unexpectedly journeyed to the Spirit World within the early morning hours of February 26, 2018 while traveling in Baltimore, Maryland. He was 45 years old.

Public viewing for Akwiraienton will begin at his mother’s home, 556 Quain Road, in Bombay on Friday March 2, 2018 at 4pm. The Funeral Ceremony will be officiated by Loran Thompson on Sunday March 4, 2018 at 1pm followed by on site burial in the Montour Family Cemetery. Friends and loved ones are invited to a traditional meal to follow.
